Visual Poem:
The Earth is round. They come again.
“The Earth is round. They come again.” is a
visual poem shot on 8mm film. It is dedicated
to the complexity and fullness of life
(particularly in the 21st century). This is
showcased through the reflection of ‘home’,
and the recognition of the beauty there is to
find in one’s physical space.

This analogue photo series is a public love letter to my home country, Côte
d'Ivoire. Capturing the spaces found in and around Abidjan, Assinie-Mafia and
Aboisso allowed me to showcase the vibrant lifestyles found in the country.
